Rhea Kapoor
Rhea Kapoor (Hindi: रीआ कपूर; born 5 March 1987) is an Indian film producer who produces Bollywood films. She is the producer of Aisha which is a remake of Jane Austen's Emma stars Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol. Kapoor is also a fashion designer designing the costumes for Sonam Kapoor her designs have been seen in films such as Aisha (2010) and Players (2012).
Early life
Rhea Kapoor was born in Mumbai to actor Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor, She is the granddaughter of filmmaker Surinder Kapoor. She is the younger sister of actress Sonam Kapoor and the niece of producer Boney Kapoor, actress Sridevi, actor Sanjay Kapoor and producer Sandeep Marwah. Rhea Kapoor is the second eldest of three children; the others are sister Sonam Kapoor and brother Harshvardhan. She is also the cousin of newcoming actor Arjun Kapoor. She finished her college from New York University, NYU in New York City.
Career
Kapoor was an Assistant Director for the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Wake Up Sid (2009) before she turned producer. Aisha is her first film as a producer which started Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol. Kapoor is also a fashion designer designing the costumes for Sonam Kapoor her designs have been seen in films such as Aisha (2010) and Players (2012).
